Children and Young People are wholly part of our church life and community, and we seek to continue to find ways to enable them to interact within our services and to grow in their faith and love for Jesus.
Each week we add a range of resources to this page for Children and Young People, including age-sensitive worship and Sunday School materials, ideas and resources to help with the days (and nights) at home, some support for parents/carers, and hopefully some online fun and games.

Sunday School Materials
It’s helpful to check the Sunday Worship page to see which Bible readings will be used this week and to see if there are any other resources that you would find helpful. Below are additional materials for each Sunday that we’ve gathered…
Sunday July 5th, 2020
TWO ACTIVITIES DURING THE SERVICE
- Handy word: There will be handprints on various slides through the service today. Collect them all to spell a phrase that is connected to our readings for today..
- All-age helping hands prayer activity: You need some paper and pens/crayons/pencils
As part of our prayers (and beyond), this activity is suitable for children of all ages. People will be asked to draw around their hand and to write or draw a picture of someone who has helped them or someone they would like to help. You can make as many as you want and arrange them into a heart-shape or other pattern.

Sunday May 24th, 2020 – You will be my witnesses
From this week most of our Sunday School activities can be found by clicking on the ‘Together at Home’ document below. Here you will find a short discussion starter and family activity that can be used to help your child/ren to prepare for or to reflect on some of the readings or themes of our morning service. There is also a colouring sheet and puzzle sheet. We’ll also add to these as our worship leaders plan each week.
Collect the letters: Watch out for the clues on the slides in todays service. Collect them all by watching and writing them down. They spell a special word.

Sunday May 17th, 2020 – Love one another
Design a poster? One of the themes for this Sunday is ‘love one another’. Could you design your own poster with the following words?: ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’
Or, CLICK HERE to try these craft ideas with toilet rolls and make something you’re thankful for (as well as toilet paper!)

Sunday May 10th, 2020 – Cornerstone and Living Stones
We’re talking about stones this week!
Find a nice big stone, have some paints, markers or even crayons ready. And we’ll tell you what to do at the beginning of the service! Don’t worry if you can’t find a stone, you can also use paper.
Also, bring a special stone with you to our service this week. It could be special for any reason – a story attached to it; brought back from holiday; valuable; a kidney stone(!); particularly beautiful; whatever.
