When we pray, remember that we’re part of the big family of God
Pray at all times, pray in all ways…
Try Praying
Do you remember that we started our Year of Prayer by giving everyone a copy of the trypraying booklet? This booklet gives you a taste of what it is to try praying. You can read it through quickly – it’d probably take you about 15 minutes. But why not take a chapter a day and actually give it a go. Try praying and see what happens.
Even if you’ve done it before, why not try it over the next week alongside other things you choose to do as part of our Weekend Away?

The Family Prayer Adventure Podcasts
Interactive podcasts from Ascension to Pentecost
The Family Prayer Adventure podcasts are a fun and engaging way to help families pray together. There is one following each daily theme of Thy Kingdom Come, and they are about 10-12 minutes long. They feature a game, an interactive Bible story (written and performed by folks like Bob Hartman), a chance to pray and great music. Do share them with families and other mixed-age groups, and use them alongside the Prayer Adventure Map and Journal.
